Clozee has done it again with her phenomenal ability to create music that is not only banging but also melodic. She has a distinct style, with a consistent vibe that never fails to lift you up every single time it is given form. This remix of ‘The Evening Loop’ by Technimatic carries a soulful, bouncing and at the same time sick sound that is meant to unburden you when you listen to it. And like I’ve said before… thank you Clozee, for giving us another brilliant track to be obsessed about!

I still don’t know why I haven’t posted this track yet. I listen to it everyday when I go back home after work. This is greatness in 4 minutes. With soulful tunes under the more massive bassline, and a high pitched, digitized (and very fresh) vocal sample to top it off. Towards the second half of the track, Gramatik adds a piano sample that goes so perfectly well with the beat. Such a great experience for your mind, soul and your body… combined.

Apocalyptic and powerful, Alpha Centauri’s intro is one of the best intros I have come across in the dubstep genre. I love how it gradually lifts you up and then drops you hard when the bass kicks in. It’s all about the lift and drop in dubstep, and this track takes it to another level with its 2 minute introduction to a heavier bassline. The breakdown is as epic as the intro, making you feel all confused inside before you go…. YESSSSSSS! All fancy words aside, I am going to make it simple for you in one word: It’s SICK!

This is the second great track I heard today. It is EPIC. When it first begins, you feel that it’s like any other (but good) chillstep track, and then the drop comes. Now when I say drop, I don’t mean the conventional definition of drop in the field of music. You feel the drop, drop as in rollercoaster drop, the drop you experience with that strange feeling in the pit of your stomach when a car suddenly drops after speeding uphill.
So where were we? the Drop. After that takes you over, be ready for some heavy bass with mechanical sounds. It’s going to be a good ride, trust me.
PS: we now have a genre called Dubstep.
